Sanya Pai is an enthusiastic and ambitious student at Charterhouse School, UK, where she studies Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Higher Level Mathematics, English, Design and Technology, Geography, and French. Her academic rigour and eagerness to explore and investigate subjects across disciplines have influenced her to believe in education as a means to connect and create impact across the globe. During the Summer@Brown Pre-College Program, Sanya learnt to love the importance of cross-cultural dialogue and the value of collaborative learning, which transcends borders. Outside of academics, Sanya is an active member of the Business Society, SAC International Committee, and a Debate Representative, all experiences that have honed her leadership and organisational skills. She is also passionate about sports and music, which have given her a sense of discipline and teamwork. These experiences led her to take the initiative to start GYAN (Global Youth Action Network) — a platform aimed at increasing accessibility to global volunteering opportunities and meaningful cultural exchange between students from different backgrounds.
